RPL HOLDS PERSONNEL & STUDENTS RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM

October 22-25, 2021

The Research, Publications, and Linkages (RPL) Office led by the OIC for VP-RPL Dr. Mark Rey C. Santos organized a Research Colloquium, which was spearheaded by the Research Unit of the department through its officer, Dr. Janet R. Valdez, on October 22, 2021 and was continued on October 25, 2021. The full support of the different units of the department was evident with the Publications Unit’s Ms. Via Galman, who documented the event; the Linkages Unit’s Ms. Cathy Raymundo, who introduced the Panel of Experts; and Ms. Ronamel Cruz, who provided coordination and able assistance. The department was supported by the Marketing and Promotions Office’s Director, Mr. Ezekiel Rodriguez, who ensured uninterrupted technical connectivity during the event.

The Research Colloquium was divided into two (2) categories: the Teaching and Non-teaching Personnel Category and the Students Category. There were four (4) presentations for the Personnel Category namely: Students’ Satisfaction with Online Experiences at La Consolacion University Philippines by Mr. Jay Mark Santos, MAEd and Dr. Divina Ann Eusebio of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs; Learners’ Psychological Well-Being in the Midst of Health Crisis and Academic Performance: A Correlational Study by Dr. Rosalyn S. Galvez of the Students’ Affairs Services; another presentation by Dr. Galvez was The Effects of Students’ Resilience Amidst Pandemic on Academic Performance; and Prototype Development for an Ergonomically-Designed Infant Walker by Engr. John Paolo A. Isip and Engr. John Mark Nanip of the College of Information Technology and Engineering.Read More ...

Diaz of the CITE; An Ergonomic Study on Jeepney’s Car Seat Design and Its Effect to the Health of Karatig Jeepney Drivers in Malolos, Bulacan by Joshua D. Tizon, Ma. Christina M. Roque, Engr. John Mark Nanip, Engr. John Paolo A. Isip of the CITE; and Presence of Visual Learning Materials at Home and Its Influence on the Early Language Development of Kindergarten by Wendell de Leon, Ann Lorainne Escartin, Abigail Laderas, and Michelle Silvestre of the College of Arts, Sciendes, and Education.

The Best Papers and Best Presenters for both the Personnel and Students Categories were chosen through rankings based on a set of rubrics for scoring. For the Personnel Category, the Prototype Development for an Ergonomically-Designed Infant Walker of Engr. John Paolo A. Isip and Engr. John Mark Nanip bagged both the Best Paper and Best Presenters.
