LCUP HOLDS RETRO-THEMED CHRISTMAS PARTY

Administrators, faculty and non-teaching personnel gathered at the Kalinangan Auditorium last December 19 to celebrate the LCUP Christmas Party. The event was held right after the Personnel Day and was a throwback to the 70’s and 80’s era as LCUP personnel came in dressed in their colorful retro outfits. The affair started with an intermission number from the Cultural Arts Program, followed by a Christmas message from Ms. Teresa Anies, Dean of CAMS. Different departments competed with each other on stage in a 70’s and 80’s themed dance contest. In between performances, LCUP personnel participated in games and raffles wherein the lucky winners took home prizes in cash and in kind such as flat screen T.V.’s, washing machines, a dining set, a sofa bed, and many more. Ms. Amelita Mora and Ms. Angeline Cruz, and Engr. Joseph Espino and Mr. Jorge Tabuac bested other nominees in the Stars of the Night and Best Dressed Awards respectively, while the Basic Education Department (K to 10) bagged the top notch in the dance competition. Ms. Ma. Aurea Rueda and Mr. Matt Jayson Cullamco were the emcees. The Christmas Party was the University’s way of celebrating the blessings of a blissful and fruitful 2017.
